Directions
We are approximately 1 mile from the Town Centre or a 30-minute walk.
There is a bus stop almost outside our drive. The number 94 bus runs every 10 minutes during the week to the town centre.
a) on foot from the Railway Station:
take the Gloucester Road exit, opposite the Co-op and 'Delicious' Cafè. Turn immediately left into Gloucester Road, walk 400 yards/metres to traffic lights. Turn left and walk 200yards/metres. We are the first house on the left-hand side over the bridge.
b) by bus:
from The Promenade Catch the '94' Bus to Gloucester and ask for 'Lansdown Castle'. Get off at the bus stop outside the Shell Garage and cross the road at the traffic lights. Walk to your right for 200yards/metres over the bridge and we are on the left.
c) by taxi
Taxis can be found at the Bus Station in Royal Well, at the railway stations and in the Promenade.
d) by car
Take exit 11 of the M5 (don't be tempted by exit 10 signed 'Cheltenham') and the follow A40 towards Cheltenham. Bridge House B&B is on the left-hand side of the road, just before the traffic island, after the traffic lights with TGI Fridays and the Shell garage on the right.
A40 from Oxford, follow signs for Gloucester and Railway Station. After passing the Police Head Quarters on the left at the traffic lights, we are 400yards on the right, just after the BUSES MERGING signs.
